Mayflower Bars

We have three bars in the Mayflower open to the public before shows (one hour before curtain up) and during the interval.

Our Circle Bar is located one floor upstairs from the foyer and is ideal if you are seated in the Circle - go through the exits at the sides, between the Rear Circle and Dress Circle, to exit straight into the Circle Bar.

Our Footlights Bar is downstairs from the foyer and is easy to access for customers seated in the Stalls. There are stairs down to the bar in both of the exits from the Stalls to the foyer.

Our Balcony Bar, at the rear of the Balcony, is open whenever there are customers sitting in the Balcony.

Our Empire Suite bar, located at the rear of the Rear Circle, is also open to the public for 'one night' shows. Otherwise, it is available to hire for groups, corporate functions, or special occasions, as well as the Wessex Suite and Executive Suite - see our Entertaining section for more information.

Our Footlights Bar is predominantly standing with occasional stools. Our Circle Lounge has tables and chairs. Unfortunately our Footlights and Circle Bars aren't accessible by lift; the Empire Suite and our Wessex Suite Restaurant are accessible with direct level access by lift.

Pre-Ordering Drinks

You may wish to pre-order your interval drinks, to save having to queue at busy bars in the interval.

We have an interval order point in the foyer, to the left of the entrance as you walk in. You can also pre-order from each of our bars. You can order your drinks to be ready at the bar of your choice; they will be ready for you on numbered shelves around the bar.

What you can purchase

Every bar has a selection of wines, spirits, bottled beer, alcopops, soft drinks along with hot drinks. We have draft lager and bitter in the Footlights and Circle Bars, but not in the Balcony bar or entertainment suites - we cannot pump the beer that high!

Snacks including sandwiches, peanuts, Pringles, biscuits, cake and ice-cream can also be purchased in the bars.

You can pay by cash or credit/debit card. We offer a cashback service in the foyer and bars.

Alcohol is not permitted within the auditorium, so please only drink in the bars. Soft drinks are allowed, although nothing in glass is permitted.
