Customer Facilities at The Mayflower
Food and Drink
Our Wessex Suite restaurant is open most Friday and Saturday evenings for pre show / post show fine dining. We offer a 2 or 3 course set menu depending on the show. Tables must be booked in advance. You can save money with our special packages by booking you dinner and show ticket together.
Our bars are open before the show and during the interval. Soft drinks can also be purchased in the Foyer along with various snacks including sandwiches, peanuts, Pringles, sweets and ice-cream.
Merchandise
Show merchandise is often available to purchase from touring shows. There is a stall for this in the foyer, to the left as you exit.
Toilets
We have well-signposted ladies and gents toilets on all levels of the theatre building. Easy access disabled toilets can be found at both Stalls and Circle levels. The disabled toilet for the Stalls is located in the disabled entrance.
Cloakroom
There is an unattended cloakroom area next to the circle lounge. This is purely for coats, bags must not be left here. All items are left at the owner's own risk.
If you are dining with us you can leave coats in the Restaurant cloakroom.
Lifts
There are two lifts at The Mayflower. However due to the nature of the building there are only limited areas that are accessible without any stairs at all, even with the lift access. Ask the box office when booking your seats to ensure that you have level access to your seats if you require it. More information can be found on the Mobility Services page.
Booster Seats
We have a limited number of booster seats which can be collected from staff at the standing boxes in the auditorium on a first come first served basis. It's best to arrive early to ensure you are able to get one of these.
You are welcome to bring your own booster seat with you.
Baby Changing
We have baby changing facilities in our disabled toilet at Stalls level, next to the disabled entrance.
First Aid
We are very lucky to have the voluntary help of St John Ambulance at most of our performances. In the absence of St John, a number of our staff on duty are well trained in first aid. We have a first aid room where we are able to take anybody that is ill for discrete treatment.
